Language Enrichment Workshops
Essential Spanish for the Camino de Santiago

Description: Are you planning to walk the Camino de Santiago, or would you like to learn more about one of Spain’s most iconic traditions? In this course, you will learn practical Spanish for the pilgrimage through real-life situations, useful vocabulary, and cultural content. You will also discover the history, traditions, and spirit of the Camino while building the confidence you need to communicate at every stage of the journey.
Cooking in Spanish: Hispanic Cuisine Through Language
Dates: August 5, 12, 19, and 26; and September 2
Schedule: From 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Level: A2–B1
Description: Do you enjoy cooking and discovering new flavors? In this course, you will explore the cuisine of Spain and Latin America while practicing Spanish in an engaging way. You will learn how to prepare traditional recipes, discover the history and culture behind the dishes, practice grammar in context, and become familiar with colloquial expressions related to food.
