Instituto Cervantes is the official Spanish Language centre in Los Angeles. We run Spanish courses for all levels, from complete beginners to proficiency, aimed at developing the students’ ability to understand, speak, read and write in Spanish. Our experienced native Spanish teachers are university qualified and have trained specifically to teach Spanish as a foreign language using the most up-to-date teaching methods.
We offer courses of all levels, from absolute beginner to advanced, designed with the goal of helping students develop their ability to speak, understand, read, and write in Spanish.
Regular courses
Instituto Cervantes in Los Angeles offers Spanish courses, as well as courses in Catalan, Basque and Galician.
These courses, aimed at adults as well as children and teenagers, are designed to enrich the student's identity with a new language and culture, learning to communicate both orally and in writing.
They are based on a participatory and student-centered methodology, and are offered in classroom and online modalities.
Special courses
In addition to this general offer of courses to learn Spanish, there are other specialized courses that focus on both linguistic (e.g., grammar courses) and cultural aspects (e.g., film courses).
Tailor-made courses
In the same way, Instituto Cervantes in Los Angeles organizes courses in Spanish for specific groups who want to improve their Spanish language skills, such as professionals in the film industry, doctors, lawyers, etcetera.
It also designs and teaches tailor-made courses and classes for individuals, companies, and organizations.

Autonomous learning
