General Spanish Courses

If you’re looking to learn how to communicate in Spanish both orally and in writing, our general courses will provide you with the linguistic and cultural tools you need to connect with people and experiences across the Spanish-speaking world.

Whether you choose the online or in-person format, both are taught by a teacher and in a group setting, allowing you to learn and practice Spanish alongside your classmates and with the guidance of your instructor, in real-life contexts and in a dynamic, engaging way.

Format: Online and in-person (at our location: 3375 Barham Blvd).

Duration: 30 hours over 10 weeks.

Price: $750.

Registration: From August 1 to September 25 via cursos.losangeles@cervantes.org.

Express Spanish Course for Future Expats in Spain

This course is designed for people planning to move to Spain soon and who wish to acquire basic communication skills in Spanish and understand how the local system works. Participants will learn to interact in shops, restaurants, banks, or health centers, and handle everyday tasks such as finding housing, registering for public services, or navigating the city. It’s ideal for those who want to arrive in Spain confident and ready to handle daily life from day one.
